Penticton Skin Treatment
Photorejuvenation is a treatment that improves the appearance of pigmentation on the face, chest, and hands, as well as small blood vessels and diffused redness found on the face and chest. This treatment results in a more even skin colour and a more youthful appearance of the skin.
Photorejuvenation or IPL, as it is also known as, uses a broad spectrum light made up of a range of wavelengths and colours. This is emitted in a series of pulses over the entire face (hands or chest) at monthly intervals for a series of three to five treatments.
We recommend a proper skin care regime to prepare the skin before, and maintain the skin after treatment. Sun protection is of utmost importance when embarking on a series of Photorejuvenation or IPL treatments. Consult our medical skin therapist about your skin regime to achieve the best results.
NOTE: Lasers (in contrast with IPL) produce a single wavelength of light and use for different treatments such as hair removal, or removal of targeted facials veins. These are two different technologies and should not be confused with one another.
